Questions about giving
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Uplift Mid-MO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Gifts over $250 automatically receive an acknowledgment letter, and you can email office@upliftmidmo.org anytime for a summary of your giving.
Where does my gift go?
Your gift stays in Audrain County. It helps neighbors with rent, utilities, and unexpected costs through the Uplift Clearinghouse, one-on-one mentoring through Caring Connections, Getting Ahead classes and Bridges workshops, and Blessing Boxes and outreach events.
Can I set up a monthly gift?
Yes. Choose the monthly option in the donation form above. Monthly gifts give us steady support we can plan around all year.
Why does the form ask for a contribution to Zeffy?
Zeffy, our donation platform, is free for nonprofits and runs on optional tips from donors. That tip is completely optional. You can change it to $0, and your full gift still goes to Uplift Mid-MO.
Is giving online secure?
Yes. Online gifts are processed securely through Zeffy. Uplift Mid-MO never sees or stores your card details.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. After you give online, a receipt is emailed to you automatically. If you need a copy or a year-end summary, email office@upliftmidmo.org.
